This nourishing start-the-day-off-right drink is a favorite of young, old and every age in-between. The recipe makes between 5 – 6 cups, depending how thick you prefer your shake.
BANANA MANGO MORNING SHAKE
- 1 Ripe banana
- 300g Peach/mango tofu
- 6 Ice cubes
- 4-5 cups Orange juice
- Place first 3 ingredients into blender and pour in enough orange juice to cover.
- Pulse blender three times to break up ice cubes. At high speed slowly pour in more orange juice until desired consistency is met.
Pour leftover shake into a container with lid and keep in refrigerator. Use within four days. Shake before use. Since the mixture will thicken you may wish to add more orange juice.
