Banana Mango Morning Shake

The brightness of a sunny morning captured in a glass.

This nourishing start-the-day-off-right drink is a favorite of young, old and every age in-between.  The recipe makes between 5 – 6 cups, depending how thick you prefer your shake.


BANANA MANGO MORNING SHAKE

YOU’LL NEED:

Banana Mango Shake

  • 1 Ripe banana
  • 300g  Peach/mango tofu
  • 6 Ice cubes
  • 4-5 cups Orange juice
STEPS:
  1. Place first 3 ingredients into blender and pour in enough orange juice to cover.
  2. Pulse blender three times to break up ice cubes.  At high speed slowly pour in more orange juice until desired consistency is met.
  3.  Serve.

Pour leftover shake into a container with lid and keep in refrigerator.  Use within four days.  Shake before use.  Since the mixture will thicken you may wish to add more orange juice.
