Victoria Falls is one of the natural wonders of southern Africa. One of the largest waterfalls in the world (twice as high as Niagara Falls) it sits along the Zambezi River, snaking the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. It is open to tourists from both sides of the border and has drawn millions of visitors from around the world.
“… scenes so lovely must have been gazed upon by angels in their flight,” expressed Dr. David Livingstone on his first sighting in 1855. He was the first European to see the Falls – one of the 7 natural wonders of the world. Unlike in Livingstone’s time, today’s travel options allow you to gaze upon the Falls like angels in flight.
